Prospect Woodworks approaches millwork as both structure and language—working closely with architects and interior designers to realize residential spaces that shape how people move, live, and feel at home. Based in the Brooklyn Navy Yard, the studio has been recognized in Architectural Digest, House & Garden, Domino, and The New York Times.

THE STUDIO

THE WORK

CUSTOM MILLWORK

Encompasses cabinetry, built-ins, wall paneling, and architectural details—each conceived as an integral element of the interior architecture rather than an applied finish.

RESIDENTIAL INTERIORS

Shaped through close collaboration with architects and designers, translating a home's architecture into environments that are precise, considered, and quietly refined.

FINE FURNITURE

Designed and fabricated in-house, each piece developed in dialogue with the surrounding space to function as both object and architecture.

“Prospect Woodworks' attention to detail is phenomenal, as is their ability to collaborate effectively and work through challenges to advance a shared vision. I can always count on them to deliver exceptional millwork that’s not only refined and beautiful, but—most importantly—functional.”

PROCESS

From initial inquiry through installation, we work closely with clients and project teams to assess site conditions, refine designs, and develop a clear plan for fabrication. Each piece is then hand-built by master artisans in our workshop and installed with precision, discretion, and respect for its architectural context.
