Our approach moves seamlessly from initial inquiry through installation, ensuring clarity, precision, and alignment at every stage. We begin by understanding the intent of the work, reading existing conditions, architectural plans, and site context to assess both complexity and opportunity, followed by a discussion to clarify direction. Whether working from technical or millwork drawings, or developing them in close collaboration with our team, each commission is refined to ensure it is clear, buildable, and resolved.

A considered proposal is then developed outlining scope, materials, timelines, and project cost. Upon approval, we move into detailed production planning and scheduling. Each piece is hand-built in our workshop by master artisans using refined methods, with custom installation carried out with care, discretion, and respect for the space it inhabits.

MATERIALS

At Prospect Woodworks, we choose the finest quality materials to highlight our strong commitment to our craft, the environment, worker health and safety, and fabricating pieces that will last for generations to come. We select our vendors for their commitment to sustainability through ethically harvested wood, which ensures that the trees used to create our products were sustainably managed and that the ecosystem they were a part of was not negatively impacted. We seek alternatives to harsh chemicals, use formaldehyde-free glue and prefer water-based finishes for a healthier work environment and home for our clients.

HARDWARE

We use only the finest quality hardware which includes brands like Hafele and Sugatsune. Our drawers are all solid wood with dovetail joinery on Blum soft close undermount slides.

FINISHES

We offer professional finishes using one of the most respected finishers in the city who can match any control sample and achieve the desired finish
