These segments of stone come from The Nethermead Arches, a 1870 bridge in Prospect Park, designed by Olmsted and Vaux. It’s made of a bright red brick in a Victorian Gothic style and has three arches that pass over a bridle path, a stream and a footpath. The bridge was recently restored as part of a project to restore four bridges in Prospect Park.
